The Fountaine Pajot Isla 40, introduced in 2020, is a 12.1-meter (39.7 ft) cruising catamaran designed by Berret-Racoupeau. It’s the successor to the Lucia 40 and is built to combine sailing performance with luxurious comfort. The catamaran features a wide beam of 6.63 meters, offering exceptional space both inside and on deck, including a spacious cockpit and a bright saloon with panoramic windows.It comes in two main configurations: the Maestro version with an owner’s suite and two guest cabins, and the Quatuor version with four double cabins—both options featuring private bathrooms. The Isla 40 is powered by twin 20 hp engines (upgradeable to 30 hp), and it carries a 59 m² mainsail and 36 m² genoa for solid sailing capability. With amenities like optional air conditioning, solar panels, and ample storage, it’s a versatile catamaran ideal for charter operations.
